For over a decade, Misty Shedd has been one of the most sought-after facial filler injectors and trainers in the United States. Misty will be joining the Learners and Legacies faculty for both the Charlotte and Los Angeles meetings.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Stephen F. Austin State University and became a Registered Nurse in the Critical Care field prior to joining the staff at Dr. Natan Yaker’s plastic surgery practice in 2004. She received her Certification as an Aesthetic Nurse Specialist in 2013.

Ranked #1 in the Southwest and #2 in the U.S. as a nurse trainer for Allergan, Misty has been a certified injector trainer for Allergan since 2011. Due to her extensive experience and expertise in Allergan product training and injection methodology, Misty serves on numerous Advisory Boards including the Allergan Medical Institute, Juvéderm Advisory Board, Voluma Advisory Board, Vycross Advisory Board, Allergan Roundtable Board and Allergan Injector Training Team Advisory Board. She was also invited to be a member of the Allergan Ambassador program.

Misty is a frequent Master Course Series assistant for some of the most recognized names in plastic surgery such as Dr Mauricio de Maio, Dr Steve Yoelin and Dr Rami Batniji. Selected as a 1:1 injector trainer for Allergan, she was also chosen as one of the first trained Kybella instructors.
