BIO:

Gary Herschman is a national leader in health care M&A transactions. He has 30+ years of experience negotiating and closing deals in dozens of states throughout the country on behalf of major physician groups, ASCs and MedSpas.  He has a very hand-holding approach with physicians and facility owners -- taking the time to explain key protections and negotiation strategies in an understandable manner – while at the same time being known as a “deal-maker”.  

His last 20 years of practice has focused primarily on advising a wide array of physician groups and facilities – including in the specialties of Plastic Surgery, MedSpa, Dermatology, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Oncology, Urology, Primary Care, ENT, Gastroenterology, and Pain Management -- on major strategic transactions with private equity investors, hospitals, mega-groups, and national healthcare companies.

Gary is often quoted regarding healthcare transactions and trends in many national health care publications such as Bloomberg Health, Crain's, Becker’s, Pitchbook, MergerMarket, Modern Healthcare, Fierce Healthcare, Healio, Medical Economics, ACG, and MGMA.  He also is a frequent speaker at many national health care industry conferences & podcasts each year on how to maximize practice and facility value in strategic partnership transactions.
